Thread Craft of Orissa

Coloured paper on which small iron nails are fixed is used for this craft form. The base is the board with nails and desired designs and motifs are raced out of thread. Themes for the craft are religiois and figures of birds, flower etc. Deities like Jagannath can also be seen.
